Proud of her progress. It’s been only two weeks since Hilaria Baldwin welcomed her fourth child with husband Alec Baldwin, but she’s not afraid to show off her post-baby body — and share some words of wisdom to other moms.

The 34-year-old fitness expert took to Instagram on Friday, May 31, to share a before-and-after baby pic. She began the post explaining the timing of both photos. “9 months to 12 days postpartum (I took the photo on the right two days ago),” she wrote.

“Every body is different, but I believe in staying as active as possible. There were so many moments when I didn’t want to work out this pregnancy. Showing up is the most difficult challenge,” she added. “I had to drag myself out and do even a little. Consistency helped me so much though…because the body wants attention and wants to be moved. So important for your circulation, your health, your happiness, and for your strength.”

9 months to 12 days postpartum (I took the photo on the right two days ago). Every body is different, but I believe in staying as active as possible. There were so many moments when I didn’t want to work out this pregnancy. Showing up is the most difficult challenge. I had to drag myself out and do even a little. Consistency helped me so much though…because the body wants attention and wants to be moved. So important for your circulation, your health, your happiness, and for your strength. I just started being able to workout yesterday. Slow and steady. Nothing crazy. Each birth is different and your doctor will be able to advise you on when you can begin. When you can, be patient with your body. You have been through so much and created something so precious. Know that day by day, movement by movement, you will regain your strength and feel amazing. #wegotthis2018

As previously reported, Hilaria and Alec, 60, welcomed their newborn son on May 17, and shared the happy news in a sweet pic with the caption: “He’s here! He’s perfect! 8lbs 2oz 💛 #wegotthis2018.”

The happy couple — who wed in June 2012 — later revealed the baby boy’s name. “We are happy to introduce you to Romeo Alejandro David Baldwin,” the health guru wrote alongside an Instagram post four days after giving birth.

Hilaria isn’t new to showing off her toned physique and it’s safe to say she doesn’t mind what others think of her for it. Following the birth of their 18-month-old, Leonardo, the yoga instructor received backlash for a video she posted of herself stretching before a workout just days after she welcomed her third baby — but she didn’t let haters get the last word.

“This is my third baby … so obviously I’ve done this before. Fitness is my job … which means my body is accustomed to working out. I ran through much of my pregnancy and worked out throughout the entirety of it,” she wrote at the time. “I take these videos and show you these health tips simply as a window into what I do so I can help you in any health journey you are embarking on.”

The post continued: “These exercises I post are not necessarily geared towards getting in shape post baby. These are exercises for anyone who feels they are appropriate for them. So please: stop with the negativity about me just having a baby. I don’t want to sit down, lay down and do nothing. That’s not what my body is telling me it wants and needs. If this negativity has been your way of caring: thank you. But I promise I’m fine.”

The pair are also parents to daughter Carmen, 4, son Rafael, 2.
