It's a high-fashion baby bump off!

Neither Kate Hudson nor Jessica Alba let their second pregnancies get in the way of making a statement among a galaxy of stars at Monday's Costume Institute Gala Benefit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC.

With fellow A-listers like Beyonce, Renee Zellweger, Madonna, Taylor Swift, Kristen Stewart, Sarah Jessica Parker and over 50 more, moms-to-be Hudson, 32, and Alba, 29, were radiant on the celeb-packed red carpet.

In her third trimester with her second child (her first with fiance Matt Bellamy) Hudson showed off her expanding belly in a Stella McCartney gown, Casedei platform shoes and an Edie Parker bag.

The newly engaged star told Us Weekly she's feeling "great!" as she awaits the birth of her new baby (last week, she said the due date is a matter of "weeks").  She already has a 7-year-old son, Ryder, with ex Chris Robinson.

Meanwhile, Alba, 29 flaunted her curves in an elegant Ralph Lauren Collection gown and, like Hudson, Casedei platform pumps.

She announced her second baby-to-be with hubby Cash Warren — they have a daughter, Honor, 2 — in February.
