Influencer Jennifer Burnham revealed that her and husband Bryce Burnham’s son Baxter has died at the age of 4.

“Heaven welcomed our angel Baxter last Monday, October 5th,” the content creator and her husband captioned a joint Instagram Reel uploaded on Monday, October 12. “Baxter from the moment you were born, you have always been our dream come true.”

Jennifer’s video included throwback moments of Baxter throughout his childhood.

“You have the most perfect angelic face and the sweetest personality. You are always kind to everyone and always love holding a car in each hand or a bag of them with you everywhere [you] go,” she continued. “You love your family, cars, chocolate chip cookies, karate, and all of your friends. You pick mommy flowers everyday on our walks.”

Jennifer ended her tribute expressing her love for Baxter and saying she knows he will be watching over his family. (Jennifer and Bryce are also parents to son Barron, 20 months.)

“We miss you too much but we know you are still with us everyday, watching over mommy, daddy and your baby brother Barron from heaven. We love you always and forever,” she concluded.

Jennifer did not reveal any details about Baxter’s cause of death.

Jennifer is best known for creating mom and lifestyle social media content. She has more than 98,000 followers on Instagram. After revealing the news of Baxter’s death, Jennifer shared an emotional quote about coping with grief via her Instagram Story.

“I don’t know how to answer when someone asks me if I’m OK because what does ‘OK’ even mean now?” the quote read. “Does it mean I get out of bed? That I made it through the day without crying in public? That I smiled at the right comments, kept my voice steady, replied to the message? Most days I wear the version of me people expect to see, but under that there’s still something cracked, something missing.”

The quote continued, “There’s a part of me that wants to say, ‘No actually I’m not OK. I’m grieving, even if I don’t always show it. I’m exhausted. I’m carrying more than I know how to say out loud. I’m doing my best but sometimes it just doesn’t feel like enough.’ But it’s hard to put that pain into words, especially when the world moves so fast and expects you to move with it.”

The internet personality became a mom in January 2022 when she and Bryce welcomed Baxter.

“Meet our newest member of the family- Baxter Scott Burnham!” Jennifer and Bryce wrote via Instagram at the time. “Born 1/25/22, 7 lbs 9 oz and 20.5” long. We are so in love! 💙.”
