Baby Rancic is almost here!
Bill and Giuliana Rancic have spent the past week in Colorado anxiously awaiting the imminent arrival of their son, who will be born via gestational surrogate. But the couple haven’t just been sitting idle as they wait for the phone to ring.
Stopping in Vail, Colo., on their way to Denver — where their surrogate intends to deliver — Bill, 41, and Giuliana, 37, took in the mountain town’s local sights and sounds during a stay at the Ritz-Carlton Residences. “Great hike on Vail Mountain, amazing couples massage . . . Now, this is how to spend a babymoon!!! #heaven” the mom-to-be tweeted August 26.
After a fly fishing trip (they both donned high-waters!), Bill and Giuliana took off for Denver, where they indulged in “epic” strawberry shortcake at Montana Ted’s restaurant. “This is livin,'” Giuliana tweeted along with a photo of their dessert.
Once their son is born, the couple will take a road trip with Baby Rancic in tow back to their Chicago home base. “I’ve got a tour bus taking us from Denver to Chicago,” Bill tells Us Weekly, adding that the family will reside in Chicago until October before heading back to Los Angeles.
“Everyone is pumped!” Bill added. “Not just our family but so many people. We’re so lucky. So many people have been pulling for us and following our journey. This has all been magical for us.”
