Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans are adding to their brood! The actors are expecting their second child, a rep confirms to Us Weekly. Gruffudd and Evans are already the proud parents of a 3-year-old daughter named Ella.
After meeting on the set of 102 Dalmatians in 2000, the couple tied the knot seven years later in Mexico. When 41-year-old Evans gave birth in September 2009, the former Vampire Diaries actress spent 40 hours in labor.
Gruffudd, 39, opened up about his little girl while promoting the now defunct CW series Ringer in April 2012. "Ella's very, very strong. She's like her mother, so I've got my work cut out for me at home," joked the Welsh actor, whose film credits include 1997's Titanic, 2001's Black Hawk Down and 2005's Fantastic Four.
When Ella began forming "full sentences," Gruffudd added, they realized how quickly their firstborn is growing up. "That evolution is just beautiful to us," the actor gushed.
