The Bachelor in Paradise stars warned parents that they will be puked on “countless times,” so be prepared. Also, make sure your diaper bag is packed with things other than diapers.
“I would say always pack an extra onesie,” Jade, 31, told Us at Lord & Taylor’s Mother’s Day event. “You never know when a blowout is going to happen.”
As for registry essentials, the reality TV couple said you can’t go wrong with a jumper.
“Honestly, the thing that saved our lives. It’s, like, a toy jumper,” Tanner, 30 told Us. “Sometimes when she’s being crazy, it’s the only thing that will calm her down. It’s easy because you don’t have to hold them 24/7 in it.”
And when the jumper doesn’t do the trick, Tanner goes for the next best thing to get baby Emerson to stop crying. “I have to hand her to Mom. That’s the dad secret, hand her to Mom,” the car dealer joked to Us.
Now that they have the basics down and have decided to “embrace the chaos,” the couple is looking to expand their family and are “very low-key trying” for baby No. 2.
“We have just started to kind of, sort of try,” Tanner told Us. “We want to have our kids close in age. So, it was time to start rolling.”
