Sweet baby James! Nearly two months after Jaime King and husband Kyle Newman welcomed their son, James Knight Newman, the proud mom revealed her little bundle of joy’s face for the first time via Instagram on Monday, Dec. 2.
“Welcome to the world our son James Knight Newman!” the Hart of Dixie actress, 34, captioned the adorable photo, which shows the tyke looking up into the camera with wide eyes and a tiny smile. “@kyle_newman and I have been filled with joy since we have been blessed with his birth. We love you!”
“Couldn’t be any luckier…” her husband tweeted a short time later. “Love my family.”
King also revealed something else via Instagram recently: James Knight’s famous godparents!
“So grateful for our baby #JamesKnight to have such loving Godparents,” the TV star wrote alongside a photo of pals Jessica Alba and Topher Grace. “Thank you for being there for us and the love of our lives.”
Married since November 2007, King and Newman first announced in May that they were expecting. They welcomed their son five months later, on Oct. 6. “Mom and baby are happy, healthy, and are doing great,” a rep for the actress confirmed to Us.
