Another little one to love! Jamie Dornan and his wife, Amelia Warner, are expecting their third child, Us Weekly can confirm.
The couple — both 36 — tied the knot in April 2013 and share two daughters, Dulcie, 4, and Elva, 2. Though often private about his personal life, the Fifty Shades of Grey actor opened up about fatherhood in an interview with The Sunday Times on Sunday, October 7, as news of his growing family surfaced.
“Being a dad is the best,” Dornan gushed to the outlet. “I feel a healthy and lovely duty to provide for my kids, and I really like it. It suits me. Making my kids happy is a good thing for my wife and me to be driven by.”
As for his relationship with his Warner, who is a musician and composer, Dornan said, “There’s never a day that I don’t tell her I love her,” and added that they’ve only had one argument in nine years together.
“We get frustrated at times, usually when travelling with the kids, but we’d never let anything boil and become a thing,” the actor explained. “We know couples who are plate-throwers, but that’s just not us. I’m glad it’s not us — plates are expensive.”
Following the birth of his eldest child, Dornan spoke openly about how being a dad has changed him in an October 2014 interview with British Vogue. “I love fatherhood,” he dished. “These last couple of years have been quite something. But we’re enjoying it.”
Later that same year, the Once Upon a Time actor explained in a News.com.au interview that fatherhood is “the best thing that has ever happened to me, and to us.” He added: “It’s an extremely joyful situation and every day seems to get better. I know it’s my most important role in life.”
