Former Bachelorette Jen Schefft is now a happy mother-of-two!
The ex-reality star and her husband, businessman Joe Waterman, welcomed daughter Charlotte Grace on July 31, Schefft announced via Twitter August 8. The newborn weighed 8 lbs., 3 oz. "She is a doll and we couldn't be happier!"
Schefft, already mom to daughter Mae, 20 months, first shared her pregnancy news with Us Weekly in January. "The kids will be about two years apart, which is a great age difference," she told Us.
The Chicago-based mom has learned a lot since becoming a first-time parent in November 2010. "They tell you how much your going to love your child, but you don't know how it feels until you actually have your own child. As much as it is wonderful, it's so hard. But the hard part is all worth it!"
Waterman has become an especially doting dad, Schefft, 36, added. "He's great!" she told Us. "I don't think he realized how much he'd love a child, but he's super helpful."
