Jennifer Lopez brought her gorgeous kids Max and Emme to the Home premiere on Sunday, March 22, and the 7-year-old twins looked adorable in their red carpet (well, purple carpet!) outfits.
Emme wore a beautiful pink princess dress with a pair of gold ballerina flats, her hair up in a pretty tight bun. Max looked dapper and just like his dad Marc Anthony, in a powder blue suit as he accompanied his mom Lopez to the high-profile event.
But while Lopez (who wore a stunning pale blue Zuhair lace minidress) and Emme seemed to enjoy their time in front of the cameras, the flashes and purple carpet hoopla appeared to get too much for little Max, who shut his eyes tight and grimaced as the photographers took their snaps.
Mom Lopez (who voices Lucy in the film) got down on one knee to comfort her son and told Us Weekly the little tykes were just eager to get into the cinema and see the movie.
“I feel really great,” the 45-year-old actress told Us. “I’m excited to see the movie with the kids. The coconuts — I’m super excited, they’re excited. They’re like, ‘Come on let’s watch the movie!’ I’m like, ‘Okay!'”
Lopez’s ex, Casper Smart also walked the purple carpet, as choreographer and creative director for the movie, but explained he didn’t spend any time working with his former lover during the making of the film.
“I didn’t work with anybody but the director, producers and animators,” Smart told Us at the star-studded event. “Everything is kind of segregated in motion capture movies.”
But the “Feel the Light” singer found it was helpful to have Smart on hand when it became time to leave the venue. While she and daughter Emme were fine walking through the crowds to get into their waiting limo, her ex was on hand to carry a slightly shyer Max through the crowd and pop him in the car with his mom, before returning to enjoy the post-premiere party.
