Is Jennifer Lopez planning on expanding her brood?! The American Idol host and songstress told Ellen DeGeneres during an interview on Friday, May 15, that she’d love to have more kids.
“I would love to have more kids,” Lopez, who opened up about her clearly on-again boyfriend Casper Smart on the show, told DeGeneres. “I love my kids I wish I would have four or five more…If I got pregnant, I would be so excited.”
The “I Luh Ya Papi” singer wasn’t as open when it came to clarifying her relationship with Smart though, whom she’s remained close with since splitting in June 2014 and even called her #ManCrushMonday earlier this week.
“I’m kind of not, but I kind of am,” the mom to twins Max and Emme answered when DeGeneres asked if she was single or not. “Have you ever been at a point in your life where you don’t know? Like you’re not sure about things? Well, that’s all. I am not sure about anything,” she added, failing to clarify the stance on her and Smart’s relationship. 
“I’m a grown woman,” Lopez said. “[I’m] doing things, whatever I feel like doing.”
After DeGeneres pushed for a clearer explanation, Lopez explained: “Look, here’s what I always say…When I have something really to say, that’s permanent or in a way that’s really important, like I feel like I have to say something, I’ll say it. I’ll say, ‘Ya know what? This is going down.’”
Until then, the singer is focusing on her upcoming Las Vegas residency. “I’m super excited,” Lopez gushed, adding she’ll be performing in at least 40 upcoming shows. “You really get to create the show that you’ve always wanted there. They have amazing shows in Vegas…It’s like sky’s the limit there.”
