Jennifer Meyer says being pregnant later in life has been “a whole new world.”
“I was so much younger when I did it with my first two kids, and I was the first of my friends [to get pregnant] pretty much,” Meyer, 49, told People in an interview published on Thursday, May 7. “So it was a different mentality. And now I know everything and what to expect.”
Meyer announced via Instagram in December 2025 that she is pregnant with baby No. 3, her first with fiancé Geoff Ogunlesi.
“Hey baby girl 🥰 We love love love you!!” she captioned a set of photos showing off her baby bump.
Meyer also shares kids Ruby, 19, and Otis, 16, with ex-husband Tobey Maguire.
The jewelry designer continued on Thursday, “It’s a little more exhausting at this stage, but I feel amazing. I love it. I feel really good. I’ve had a really awesome pregnancy. Thank God. It’s been really good. I think I’ve manifested hard.”
Meyer also recalled being “cautious” when she told Ogunlesi about her pregnancy due to her age.

“To get to be able to do it again at this point in my life with this person that I love so much, it was really cool,” Meyer said. “And also, you’re cautious. I’m not 25, so it’s like, ‘Oh my God, I’m pregnant.’ It’s so exciting. And he always has this very incredible attitude in life. He’s always very positive, always just looks at everything working out no matter what. So I try to adapt to that a little bit more, which I am, but it was a sweet moment.”
Meyer added that her kids are also excited to become older siblings.
“They were really cute about it and they’re really excited about it,” she revealed. “And then at the same time, teenagers really only think about themselves and what they’re going through at the moment. And as they should — they’re teenagers. They are having big feelings every day. First year of college is big. It’s friends and boyfriends and traveling and all these things. So they’re very sweet about it, but they’re also very concentrated on their own lives.”
As for how she’ll parent this time around, Meyer said she learned a few things from raising her teens.
“I was so full-time with my first two, I did everything all night long. I breastfed 24/7. I never had a night nurse, never had anyone doing anything for me like that,” she explained. “I put so much pressure on myself to do absolutely everything.”
Meyer continued, “I’ve learned at this stage in life, it’s OK to ask for help. It’s OK to not be Superwoman with everything. I think women are super women anyway, so I’m prepared to ask for help. I’m prepared to not take everything on.”
The businesswoman concluded, “I really don’t mean to sound lame or anything, but I’m feeling like I’m just having a fairytale experience in my [whole] life right now. It’s like all my wishes are coming true. And so I feel really grateful and lucky and just excited for all these new chapters.”
