To put it bluntly, Angelina Pivarnick has had a rough few years. After quitting Jersey Shore twice, the 24-year-old endured more heartbreak when she ended her two-month engagement to David Kovacs in April 2011. In an upcoming appearance on the FOX show Father Albert (airing August 4), Pivarnick reveals more devastating news: she recently suffered a miscarriage.
"I wanted [my pregnancy] to be my personal business, and it really wasn't," the former reality star said. "It was really hard, and I went through a lot of stress, and I ended up losing the baby."
Pivarnick believes the constant media attention surrounding her pregnancy, coupled with an absentee baby-daddy, contributed to her miscarriage.
"He wasn't even there for me. He was tormenting me, and it was definitely a big reason why I think what happened to me," she said. (Pivarnick declined to name the baby's father.) "It was definitely a reality check."
Pivarnick's appearance on Father Albert airs Thursday, August 4 on FOX (check your local listings).
