At least someone in the Duggar family is smiling! Jessa Duggar has shared a brand-new picture of her nephew Israel Dillard via Instagram, and his little face is enough to brighten anyone's day.
Israel, or Izzy, as Duggar nicknames him, is the 4-month-old son of Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard. And the photo his proud aunt Jessa shared on Wednesday, Sept. 2, shows the cute little tot mid-giggle, with his shock of blonde hair standing up on end! "My adorable little nephew!," Jessa captioned the snap, adding the hastags #Izzy #IsraelDavidDillard.
Jessa, who is expecting her own baby in November, is evidently trying to stay positive amid the Duggar family's latest scandal — the revelation of brother Josh Duggar's Ashley Madison accounts and his subsequent admission of infidelity.
The 22-year-old expectant mom made her views on her brother's choices clear for the first time on Tuesday, Sept. 1, by sharing her father-in-law's views via her Facebook page, in a blog post in which he called Josh a "pretender."
In addition to publicly siding with the Seewalds on Tuesday, Jessa also shared a sermon this week called the "Passions That Prevent Adultery." Citing Pastor John Piper's DesiringGod.org, Jessa shared with her fans: "The gospel convinces us of something irresistibly true, and then transforms our desires for something new. That conviction and passion keeps us out of bed with someone who’s not our spouse and rejects a thousand other temptations."
