It’s a boy! Jordana Brewster and her husband, Andrew Form, have welcomed their second child, her rep confirms to Us Weekly.
The Fast and Furious actress’ baby boy, Rowan Brewster-Form, was born via gestational surrogate on Thursday, June 9.
The actress, 36, and Form, 44, are already parents to son Julian, 2, who was also born via surrogate.
Brewster opened up to Yahoo! Parenting in October 2015 about choosing gestational surrogacy.
“I didn’t really have a choice about being open, since it was obvious I wasn’t pregnant. For me it wasn’t a choice; I needed to use a surrogate. But I didn’t feel judged. It’s more like I felt awkward,” she explained while chatting about her first-born. “Sometimes I feel a little left out when other moms talk about what their birth experience was like, and I feel the loss of not having carried or having been able to carry.”
“In many ways, I feel lucky that I was able to be open,” the People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story actress continued. “There are so many women who are young and have to go through IVF and feel like they can’t talk about it, and that’s really unfortunate.”
“I think about all the time I spent worrying, and that was all time wasted,” Brewster offered as advice for new parents. “So it’s cliché, but just relish it, because it passes so quickly.”
Brewster and the producer married in a Caribbean wedding in 2007 after meeting in 2005 on the set of Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning.
