Mama’s little boy is growing up! Though Prince George just celebrated his second birthday, his mom, Kate Middleton, recently revealed that her son already thinks he’s 3.
While attending the later canceled America’s Cup World Series in Portsmouth, England, Middleton, 33, was approached by a little boy named Freddie Wilson. He is the son of one of the teams’ leaders, Head Coach Rob Wilson.
“Hello, Princess, my name is Freddie Wilson,” he said, greeting the Duchess.
Later his mom, Wendy Maxwell, told reporters of the encounter, “[Middleton] asked him how old he was and he said, ‘I’m 3.’ When I said he is only 2, she said, ‘George says that. He thinks that he’s older.'”
When Middleton and her husband, Prince William, attended the event, they received several gifts for their two growing children. In addition to some wooden replicas of the Navy’s two new aircraft carriers, the Queen Elizabeth and the Prince of Wales, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, 2 months, also got their own customized team shirts.
