He’s here! Katherine Webb and husband AJ McCarron have welcomed their first child together, a boy, the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback tweeted on Tuesday, May 24.
“Little man is here. We have a beautiful little boy a part of our family now!! Wow is he a long one,” the excited new dad wrote. “We love you, Tripp McCarron #proudparents.”
Webb, 27, and the NFL player, 25, announced in December that they were expecting.
“We are having a BOY! So excited and feel extremely blessed,” the former Miss Alabama tweeted at the time, along with a photo of herself getting a sonogram with her husband beside her.
Webb became a viral sensation in 2013 when ESPN announcer Brent Musburger ogled her during the Alabama vs. Notre Dame game at the second BCS National Championship.
“You quarterbacks get all the good-looking women,” said Musburger as cameras focused on Webb cheering on her man during much of the game. The sports network later apologized for Musburger’s comments.
The model and athlete got engaged in March 2014, and married just months later in July 2014 in Alabama.
