Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have named their newborn son Saint West. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star revealed her son’s name on her website on Monday, Dec. 7, two days after welcoming her second child.

The couple referred to their new son as a saint throughout Kardashian’s pregnancy, given she had such a hard time conceiving, a source explains to Us.
As previously reported, the couple were against naming their son something directional (South, Easton, or, obviously, West) like their daughter, North West. The couple had also discussed honoring Kardashian’s late father, Robert Kardashian.
“He’s here!” Kardashian informed fans via Twitter early Saturday morning, along with a sweet photo of her and West holding hands. In another announcement on her website, the reality star updated fans that “mother and son are doing well.”
When North was born in June 2013, her grandma Kris Jenner explained her moniker during an appearance on The View. “The way [Kim] explained it to me was North means ‘highest power,’ and she says that North is [Kim and Kanye’s] highest point together,” Jenner explained. “And I thought that was really sweet.”
