There's a reason the Little Black Dress is considered a wardrobe staple — and Kim Kardashian's latest outfit proves that. The seven-months-pregnant reality star, 32, looked chic and sophisticated when she stepped out in a stylish LBD after midnight on Sunday, May 19, to celebrate boyfriend Kanye West's successful stint on the May 18 season finale of Saturday Night Live in New York City.
The form-fitting frock — which had long sleeves and black leather detailing around the neckline and wrists — showcased the mom-to-be's growing baby bump and famous curves. She kept the rest of her look streamlined and simple, with black sheer stockings, black pumps, a smoky eye, and pale lips. Her long hair was sleek, straight, and swept to one side. (In an Instagram picture from earlier in the night, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star thanked celeb hairstylist Lacy Redway for the "side part swag.")
It hasn't been easy, but Kardashian — expecting her first child with rapper West in July — seems to have found a groove in terms of dressing her baby bump. Earlier in her pregnancy, she admitted to struggling to find clothes that fit her well. "I have gained lots of inches in width but can't wait for the bump to pop…finding ways to conceal it is hard," she wrote in March, adding that it was "so awkward" to dress her new curves.
Recently, however, she's been more comfortable showing off her pregnant body, even donning multiple bikinis during a family vacation to Mykonos, Greece. "Once the bump started to show," a source told Us Weekly, "she got more confident."
"She's loving the seventh month," a second source added. "And she thinks pregnancy is so cute."
