Kendall and Kylie Jenner broke out the old family photo albums to wish their dad, Caitlyn Jenner, a happy Father’s Day on Sunday, June 17.
“Happy Father’s Day to the soul that raised me,” Kendall, 22, wrote on Instagram Story along with several snaps of the 68-year-old Olympian before she transitioned in 2015.
Sister Kylie, 20, shared a similar collection of throwbacks, including one that shows a grinning Caitlyn covered in silly string. [Caitlyn’s step-daughter Khloe Kardashian, from whom she is is now estranged, looks on smiling.] The Lip Kit creator also posted red carpet photos of Caitlyn when she was married to her mom Kris Jenner. (The couple split in October 2013 after 22 years of marriage.) In one adorable shot, little girls Kylie and Kendall wear matching blue dresses and tight braids fastened with beads.
“So lucky to call you my dad,” Kylie captioned a baby picture of herself yawning on Caitlyn’s chest.
The I Am Cait star is also father of Burt, 39, Cassandra, 38, Brandon, 37, and Brody, 34, from previous marriages. He helped Kris raise kids Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob Kardashian. But despite the large brood, Caitlyn often spends time alone in her Malibu mansion with just her dog, Bertha.
“I spend a lot of time by myself here in the house. I have a lot of children, but sometimes just because of circumstances, maintaining a class relationship with your kids is very tough,” the former E! star revealed in a May interview for Broadly. “They all have lives. They’ve moved on.”
She added: “We’re just human beings; we’re going to be here for a very short time. We come and we go and at the end, when it’s all said and done, hopefully your family is going to be there.”
