Madonna celebrated her twin daughters, Stella and Estere, on their 14th birthdays with a sweet tribute.

“Happy Birthday to my Virgo Twins! Stella and Estere!” the Grammy winner, 68, wrote via Instagram on Monday, August 24. “So full of Life, Music, and Opinions. I can’t believe you’re 14!!! You live in the magical world that only twins can inhabit.”

Madonna shared multiple photos of Stella and Estere over the years. One snap showed off the twins standing side-by-side as they rocked long white dresses. She also posted individual shots of Stella and Estere, in addition to both girls posing alongside the pop superstar.

The “Material Girl” singer’s tribute also included throwback snaps of Stella and Estere as young children. She also opened up about meeting Stella and Estere in Mawali before adopting them in February 2017.

She also included a throwback video of the girls when they were young as they sang along to their mom’s song “La Isla Bonita.”

In addition to Stella and Estere, Madonna is mother to daughters Lourdes and Mercy as well as sons Rocco and David. (Madonna welcomed Lourdes with ex Carlos Leon in 1996 and Rocco with ex Guy Ritchie in 2000. She adopted David and Mercy from Mawali in 2006 and 2009, respectively.)

“Even today, I struggle to understand how to be a mother as well as do my job,” the musician said of motherhood in a 2023 interview with Vanity Fair Italia. “Because no matter where you are, whoever you are, having children and raising kids is a work of art. And nobody gives you a manual — you have to learn from your mistakes.”

Earlier this month, Madonna celebrated her birthday alongside five of her children during a family trip to Greece. (David was seemingly absent during the festivities.)
