Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher had one goal prior to becoming parents — don’t let their child be an “ass.”
The Bad Moms actress revealed during a recent interview with The Kyle & Jackie O Show that prior to welcoming their daughter, Wyatt, she and Kutcher discussed “How do you raise a child to not be an ass?”
“It’s so important because we both came from pretty solid poverty backgrounds and grew up very poor and are very much self-made and are very aware of what a dollar is worth,” Kunis, who is pregnant with her second child, continued. “Nothing’s been handed to us.”
While Kunis, 32, notes that while her children will never “have ketchup soup for dinner,” she said they’ll try their best to keep their kids grounded.
“It’s a matter of teaching them from a very early age that, you know, ‘Mommy and Daddy may have a dollar, but you’re poor,’” Kunis joked. “‘You are very poor, you have nothing. Mommy and Daddy have a bank account.’”
Us Weekly confirmed in June that the Ted star is expecting her second child with Kutcher. During a July 2016 interview with Ryan Seacrest, the actress hinted at thinking about baby No. 3.
“I’ve always said this, I think you know when your family is complete. After we had Wyatt, the second that I gave birth, I was like, ‘I know that we need to have another baby,’” she said. “We both knew it, we just felt it. And so I always say after the second one, we’ll know if we need to have another one.”
