Make way for another social media savant! Vine star Nash Grier and his fiancée, Taylor Giavasis, announced on Friday, April 19, that they are expecting their first child.
“1 + 1 = 3,” Grier, 21, tweeted with a photo of himself cradling Giavasis’ baby bump in a field of flowers.
He added: “I was holding Taylor’s belly the whole time after I proposed idk how y’all missed that.” The YouTuber shared more pics from the gorgeous maternity shoot via his Instagram Story.
Giavasis, meanwhile, tweeted a solo shot showing off her growing belly in lingerie. “My angel,” the glowing mom-to-be captioned the post.
“As long as I can remember I’ve wanted to be a mommy,” the 21-year-old wrote via Instagram. “I’ve always been enthralled with pregnancy and the joy/strength that come with motherhood. I am honored to be able to experience such a gift.”
Grier previously shot down pregnancy rumors in December 2018. “Thanks for the wishes but we’re not pregnant,” he tweeted at the time. “We’ve just been eating good @taylorgiavasis.”
Upon revealing the happy news on Friday, the internet star poked fun at the message. “Little did we know,” he wrote.
The couple further expressed their enthusiasm over the impending addition. “We are thrilled to embark on the next chapter of our lives! We feel so blessed to have had each other and grow together over these last few years, and we are so incredibly excited to announce that we are bringing a new life into the world!” the pair told Entertainment Tonight in a statement. “The love and support we’ve received has made us feel like the luckiest people on earth. We look forward to the future and sharing the rest of our journey with you.”
The duo announced their engagement on March 25. “She said yes,” he captioned an Instagram photo of his bride-to-be displaying her ring. Grier and Giavasis began dating in 2015.
