It’s that time of year! Neil Patrick Harris and pal Sir Elton John are enjoying their annual family trip to St-Tropez.
Harris, 45, and David Burtka, are parents of 7-year-old twins Gideon and Harper, while the multi-Grammy Award winner, 71, and his husband, David Furnish, share sons Zachary, 7, and Joseph, 5. The entire gang was on hand for the sweet beach shot that Harris shared with Instagram fans on Tuesday, June 10. (Harper stole the show in a woven straw sun hat and shades!)
“The loveliest of travel compagnons,” the How I Met Your Mother alum captioned the picture. “Merci, @dbelicious & @eltonjohn @davidfurnish & our amazing kids for such fond memories. #families #grateful.”
The “Tiny Dancer” singer posted the same photo, writing: “Summer magic.”
On Wednesday, July 11, Burtka 43, Instagrammed a snap of Harper clowning around on the deck of a boat as a shirtless Harris watched on. “Harper sharpening her circus skills,” wrote the actor. “Neil looking both impressed and cautious. He’s such a sweet, caring and thoughtful papa. #grateful. #lucky.”
The famous dads and their crew are quite familiar with the south of France. They have been vacationing there together since 2011!
Harris, who stars in Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, gushed to Access Hollywood in 2011 that John and the Canadian filmmaker, 55, are “great guys” and “super great” fathers. (At the time they only had Zachary.) “They’re so fiercely involved in their son’s life,” he revealed. “And it’s really kind of great to watch them interact with him.”
