It’s not unusual for Nicky Hilton to begin her day at 5:15 a.m. “My girls are very early risers,” the 34-year-old told Us Weekly on Tuesday, May 8, at the BTIG Charity Day in NYC. But the mom of 22-month-old Lily and 4-month-old Teddy isn’t complaining. Her favorite family moments happen in the morning.
“We all play in the children’s bedroom on the floor,” Hilton told Us. “The animals come in and my husband [James Rothschild] comes in and has his coffee with us before he goes to work. It’s just nice family time. So even though it’s brutal waking up that early, I look forward to it every day.”
The hotel heiress also bonds with her daughters during bath time — a ritual that includes products from Dr. Barbara Sturm’s baby skincare line, Mini Molecular. Packed with soothing jojoba oil and almond blossom extract, the collection includes hair and body shampoo, baby bum cream and bathing milk.
“They are amazing,” raved Hilton. “Organic, all-natural.”
Hilton also swears by D. Porthault, a luxury brand famed for their linens. It’s where she goes for all her baby shower gifts.
Though motherhood is Hilton’s favorite role, she admits it can be overwhelming. “It’s double the fun and double the exhaustion,” she told Us.
“It is quite tedious when I’m trying to feed the baby and I have my toddler pulling me and ripping my arm. That’s a little stressful,” she told Us. Though Hilton won’t use pacifiers — she’s not against a little screen time. When both kids are melting down, “I put on Peppa Pig!”
