Safe and sound in the Big Apple. North and Saint West were in New York City during their mom Kim Kardashian‘s robbery incident in Paris, a source tells Us Weekly.
A rep for Matilda the Musical confirms to Us that North, 3, attended a matinee performance of the Broadway show with two other children, a nanny and a security guard Sunday, October 2. Saint, 9 months, was not at the theater with his sister, but was in NYC at the time.
“They sat in the audience and then afterward, North came backstage and met the kids in the company, including the girl who played Matilda,” the rep said. “A good time was had by all!”
As Us Weekly previously reported, Kardashian, 35, was held at gunpoint, tied up and locked in the bathroom of her private residence in Paris in the wee hours of Monday, October 3. A group of five men posing as police officers stole an estimated $10 million worth of jewelry and two iPhones before escaping on bicycles.
“[Kim] is badly shaken, but physically unharmed,” her rep told Us in a statement. A Paris judicial police official added, “There is still a lot of work to do in the investigation.”
Hours later, Kardashian flew out of Paris from Paris-Le Bourget Airport on a private jet.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s husband, Kanye West, was notified of the incident during his performance at the Meadows Music & Arts Festival in Queens, New York, Sunday night. He was forced to cut short his set, telling the crowd he had to leave because of a “family emergency.”
The couple resurfaced together Monday morning in downtown NYC after he picked her up from Teterboro Airport with a 15-car motorcade.
