Erin Napier has a small favor to ask of her unborn daughter Helen: Can you please adjust your position?
“For two days, this tiny person who has my exact lips that I inherited from my daddy, has been pushing her tiny 2” foot so hard just under my ribs,” wrote the 32-year-old mom-to-be in a Sunday, December 3, Instagram. “It sticks way out and looks sci-fi then disappears and MAN it’s weird being pregnant.”
In the post, Erin, who stars on HGTV’s Home Town with her husband Ben, holds a detailed 3D ultrasound of the baby girl.
The Laurel, Mississippi-based artist, who is due this winter, admitted to Us Weekly in October that she’s terrified of going into labor.
“It’s bee my biggest fear for my whole life. My dad is a doctor in physical therapy and eh had all these medical books that I read when I was way too young,” she told Us. “I found pictures of childbirth and it seriously traumatized me. But there’s nothing you can do. You just have to get through this part of and then you have the joy of a child.”
Though Erin is still filming season 2 of Home Town, her college sweetheart Ben, 34, has been making sure she’s not overexerting herself. “He doesn’t let me do anything! Not one thing,” she revealed. “He treats me like I’m the most delicate little flower. He’s just so gracious and generous but he’s always been that way. It’s just gone into total overdrive since we found out about the baby.”
