Jana Kramer’s uterus will be closed for business after she and husband Mike Caussin welcome their second child. The former NFL player is getting a vasectomy. “We’re done. He’s snip, snippin,” pregnant Kramer told Us Weekly at the Support the Girls premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday, August 22.
“I’m gonna be 35 in December and after 35 it’s basically a geriatric pregnancy,” the country singer explained to Us. “I wanna be done. I wanna live the rest of my thirties getting in shape and just taking care. We wanna adopt too.”
Caussin is in agreement with his wife of three years. “If we have anymore, it’ll be adoption,” the former NFL player, 31, told Us. Quipped Kramer: “So just nothing else out of me!”
The couple, who are parents of 2-year-old daughter Jolie, are expecting a baby boy in November. (They exclusively shared the sex of baby No. 2 with Us Weekly last month.)
Though pregnancy isn’t always sexy — the One Tree Hill alum admitted she was about to puke at the event — she and Caussin are keeping their romance alive with what they call “intentional time.”
“I’m like, ‘Honey, all I want is just intentional time together,’” the Whine Down With Jana Kramer host told Us. “You make time to go to work, you make time to do these things, make intentional time.” Sometimes the parents catch a movie. And occasionally Jolie will join them. “We actually just took Jolie bowling,” Kramer revealed. “And we went put-putting one time, it was fun.”
Earlier this month, Kramer predicted she would become emotional on Jolie’s first day of preschool. “I’m probably going to cry. I’ve been crying a lot more recently because she’s getting more independent,” the star told Us at the time. “I’m so happy . . . but it also breaks my heart. She used to scream and cry when I would leave the house, and now she’s like, ‘Bye mama!’ And I’m like, ‘No, no, no. You are supposed to be screaming and not letting me leave the house.’”
