Jessica Simpson is no longer the queen of TMI! Former Bachelorette star Jillian Harris majorly overshared while comparing her pregnancy to fellow alum Ali Fedotowsky’s. “Ali and I are only about a month apart, so we talked a little bit about our symptoms and whatnot,” season five’s Harris told Us Weekly on March 17 at a video shoot for Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. “If you read her blog, she talked about being constipated, and I’m like, ‘I’m the exact opposite! I haven’t pooped this much in my entire life!’”
The host of HGTV’s Love it or List It is expecting her first child in early September with her boyfriend, Justin Pasutto. “The first trimester I felt sick and gross and didn’t want to eat,” Harris revealed. “I was just expecting … I would have pregnancy symptoms through the entire nine months, but you don’t really.”
Harris, 36, showed off her bump at the video shoot, where she showcased the ways she uses Magic Eraser to clean her home, and said she is relishing her burgeoning belly. “Yesterday was the first day where I wore skinny jeans, I wore a tight shirt and I kind of let the belly out and I loved it,” she said. “Until the fourth month, for me, it was that awkward stage where I didn’t look pregnant, it just looked like I didn’t make it to the gym. But I think from here on in, I’m going to wear more tight stuff. And I’m set for bikini season. When I found out I was pregnant, I bought 12 different bikinis because I was so excited to have my bump out.”
The Vancouver resident announced her pregnancy in a sweet blog post published on March 4. “I have dreamed for years of being a mama … thought about how I would tell people … how I would feel … what kind of mom I would be …” she wrote. “And here we are … Justin and I couldn’t be MORE STOKED to grow our little family!”
Back in 2009, Harris competed for Jason Mesnick’s heart on season 13 of The Bachelor. She placed third and was then selected to star in the fifth season of The Bachelorette. She chose contestant Ed Swiderski as the winner, and the two became engaged by the series’ end in 2009. The pair pulled the plug on their romance in July 2010 after Us Weekly broke the news of Swiderski’s infidelity.
