It looks like three-month-old Prince George will be taking his country’s sports traditions head on from an early age. The son of Prince William and Kate Middleton has been given an honorary Wales rugby jersey from captain Sam Warburton.
Warburton, 25, presented the jersey — lucky number 7 — to George’s proud father, the Duke of Cambridge, in the locker room at the Wales vs. South Africa Rugby Union Autumn International on Nov. 9, 2013. William has been the vice royal patron of the Welsh Rugby Union since February 2007.
Also attending the game was former soccer superstar David Beckham and his three sons Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz. Middleton wasn’t present at the game, but the couple made an appearance together at Remembrance Sunday on Nov. 10 in London to pay tribute to fallen service men who died in the two World Wars.
Middleton, 31, gave birth to George in July and has since made several public appearances looking nearly impossibly slim and healthy, including the baby’s October christening.
