April Love Geary has joined the #brelfie movement! The 23-year-old model, who welcomed daughter Mia Love with boyfriend Robin Thicke on February 22, shared a video of herself breast-feeding.
“Feeding time for the little munchkin,” the new mom captioned her Instagram Story on Wednesday, February 28. In the clip, a relaxed Geary gazes adoringly at her bundle of joy.
Geary and Thicke, 40, began dating shortly after his ex-wife, Paula Patton, filed for divorce in October 2014. The couple, who have 17 years between them, went public with their relationship in May 2015 when they attended the Cannes Film Festival.
While Geary is a newbie at parenting, the “Blurred Lines” singer is a pro: he and Patton share son, Julian, 7. And Julian is an A+ big brother. Geary posted a video of the little boy reading Are You My Mother to his little sister on February 25.
Geary and the musician announced they were expecting in August. “Robin and I are very excited to share with you all that we’re having a baby!” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “The due date is May 1st, Alan’s birthday!” she added, referencing Thicke’s late father, Growing Pains star Alan Thicke, who died of a heart attack in December 2016.
Of course, babies are unpredictable — and little Mia ended up arriving one week early!
Robin shared a video of himself holding the whimpering newborn on February 24. “Thank you God,” he wrote. “And April Love.”
