Rod Stewart’s daughter Kimberly Stewart confirmed she quietly welcomed baby No. 2 while celebrating her son’s first birthday.
Kimberly, 46, posted a photo of her toddler via her Instagram Story on Thursday, July 9, per People. According to a screenshot shared by the outlet, Kimberly’s son, whose face was covered with a white heart emoji, can be seen sitting in a high chair wearing a blue shirt and striped pants.
The child was enjoying a sweet treat as a small homemade white frosted cake with berries was in front of him. There was a blue candle in the shape of the number one placed in the middle of the dessert. There were also blue balloons set up behind him.
This was the first time Kimberly publicly shared that she welcomed her son. Last year, she announced she was pregnant with baby No. 2.
“Baby boy coming soon 🩵,” she wrote via Instagram in May 2025 alongside several photos from her maternity photoshoot.
Following her announcement, Rod’s wife, Penny Lancaster, posted a message via her Instagram Story congratulating her stepdaughter on the exciting news. (Rod shares Kimberly with ex-wife Alana Stewart.)
“So happy for you becoming a mother again,” Lancaster gushed at the time.
No details about her son’s father were shared.
Kimberly is also mother to daughter Delilah, 14, whom she shares with ex Benicio Del Toro. (The pair had already separated before welcoming Delilah in 2011.)
When Delilah was younger, Kimberly opened up her daughter’s interest in fashion.
“She’ll look at me sometimes and she doesn’t need to say anything — she’ll just look at me and I just know that I’m wearing the wrong shoes or something,” she recalled in a 2015 interview Australia’s News.com.
Del Toro, for his part, previously opened up to Us Weekly about how he’s worked on being “even-keeled” and “cool” even when his daughter “is throwing a tantrum.”
“I’ve learned it’s important to compromise,” Del Toro, 59, exclusively told Us in June 2018.
While Kimberly and Del Toro’s relationship didn’t work out, the duo have remained amicable coparents. In February 2023, Kimberly shared a rare family photo of herself, Rod, Del Toro and Delilah. The group posed for a pic while walking through the streets of Puerto Rico, where the One Battle After Another star is from. Delilah stood next to her parents while Rod posed next to Kimberly, as she had her arm around her father.
“Puerto Rico,” she captioned the sweet family moment.
