Heartbreaking. Tony Award winner Ruthie Ann Miles was involved in a car crash on Monday, March 5, which left her hospitalized, and claimed the life of her 4-year-old daughter, Abigail, according to WNBC-TV New York.

The 34-year-old Broadway star — who is currently pregnant with her second child — is said to be in critical condition via a fundraiser page setup in her honor by Fiasco Theater Company manager Jack Stephens.

Miles and her daughter were two of four hit when a driver reportedly ran a red light in Brooklyn, New York, early Monday afternoon. Another woman was injured due to the accident, and her 1-year-old son has also died. The crash was the result of a driver who claimed to have suffered a seizure, The Daily News reports. The driver says she does not remember the crash.

Miles, who won a Tony award in 2015 for her role in the Broadway revival of The King and I, is receiving an outpour of support from the theater community.

Ben Platt, star of Dear Evan Hansen, tweeted: “This incredible woman of unimaginable kindness and goodness and talent is going through the absolutely unthinkable. Please help @RuthieAnnMiles if you can.” He added a link to the GoFundMe page, which is set up in her name.

“Heartsick for Ruthie and her family,” Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda added. Kristin Chenoweth tweeted, “@RuthieAnnMiles sending love to you and your family there are no words. Except you are loved.”

Younger’s Sutton Foster also took to Twitter to encourage people to donate to Miles’ page. “Please help my friend @RuthieAnnMiles and her family,” she wrote alongside the link.

The page reads, “These contributions will go to Ruthie and her family. Ruthie is beloved by her many friends and colleagues in the Broadway and touring communities. She is always kind and always has a smile. It is our honor to help her in this difficult time.”
