Forget stockings and Christmas cookies.
Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker says her family celebrates the holiday by getting naked.
"When I grew up, we had a 'naked tree' on Christmas, meaning it was unadorned," Parker, 44, told Usmagazine.com at the New York City premiere of her new film Did You Hear About the Morgans? Monday.
"On Christmas Eve, those of us who still believed in Santa Claus — and some of us who still do — would go to bed and when we woke up in the morning the tree was decorated. We were told Santa wrapped our presents and decorated our tree in his spare time and we believed it," she tells Us.
The actress' childhood tradition is one she plans to keep in her own family, which includes husband, Matthew Broderick, and their son, James Wilkie, 7, and six-month-old twins Marion and Tabitha.
What's it like being a new mom of twins, born via a surrogate last June?
"That's an impossible question to answer," Parker admits. "You cannot put it into a little sound bite into a tiny tape recorder. It’s the most perfectly overwhelming experience. It's a total blessing and we're thrilled."
Parker, who will step back into her Manolos as Carrie Bradshaw in SATC2 next summer, says she's still learning to juggle work and family.
"It's a strain. But I'm not going to complain," the actress tells Us. "We do the best we can like every other family. You juggle, you organize, you fail, you have triumphs. Most working mothers work much harder than I do and have far less help."
