Little Lyon is a looker! Shayne Lamas and her husband, Nik Richie, have finally introduced their son to the world. Lyon graces the cover of Closer Weekly’s new issue with his grandpa, actor Lorenzo Lamas.
As previously reported, the happy couple welcomed Lyon back in July. Lorenzo’s wife, Shawna Craig — Shayne’s stepmom — helped as their surrogate. (Lorenzo was previously married to Shayne’s mom, Michelle Smith, from 1983 to 1985.)
“I’m so happy for my daughter and son-in-law, because they wanted another child really badly,” Lorenzo, 57, told Closer mag in the interview, titled “My Wife Gave Birth to My Grandson!”
“I was happy that we were able to help them accomplish that,” he added. Shawna, 29, gushed: “We all feel a little more complete now that Lyon is here and growing and doing well.”
Shayne, 29, and the TheDirty.com founder married in April 2011 and are already parents to daughter Press, 3. Shayne, who suffered a miscarriage in February 2014, is beyond appreciative of her famous dad and Shawna.
“I was shocked that my dad was on board with this, to be 100 percent honest,” Shayne told the mag. “But I’ll always be grateful.”
