Karolína Kurková isn’t ready to donate her maternity clothes just yet. The model, 34, and her husband, Archie Drury, who share sons Tobin, 9, and Noah, 3, might try for a baby girl at some point.
“We’ll see,” Kurková told Us Weekly at the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in Mountain View, California. “Maybe a girl for my husband . . . cause you know boys are mommy’s boys. They love daddy of course, but they’re like, ‘Mommy, cuddle with me. Mommy, come kiss me.’”
But when the Czechoslovakia native travels for work and can’t be there for snuggles, she lets her kids know she is thinking of them. “I do feel guilty if I’m not there every second,” she admitted to Us. “Thank God for FaceTime. I send videos. I send pictures. They’re like, ‘OK. I know where Mommy is. She’s safe.’ So it’s all about communication.”
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel also opened up about how she helps Tobin and Noah to make healthy choices with food. I want to be realistic,” she explained. “I don’t want to be that parent who is forbidding everything because then they’re gonna go crazy when I’m not around and in somebody else’s house. So I think it’s more about empowerment and to just be like, ‘OK. This is your cheat day. You want that? That is fine, but it’s not something we have every day.’”
Kurková and Drury, a Marine, tied the knot in 2009. They first met on social media. “We really got to actually connect through Facebook,” she told Hamptons Magazine in 2017. “I found his friend and then saw his name. It’s funny because he didn’t know who I was, which was great. I think if he knew, it wouldn’t have worked out.”
