Two’s a party! Supernatural actor Jensen Ackles and his wife, Danneel Harris Ackles, are expecting twins, Us Weekly confirms. According to a rep for the couple, the pair are expecting a boy and a girl later this year.
“They’re thrilled,” the rep tells Us.
Ackles, 38, and Danneel, 37, who is best known for her role as Rachel Gatina on One Tree Hill, are already the parents of 3-year-old daughter Justice “JJ” Jay.
Danneel also announced their happy news on Instagram, captioning a photo of five pairs of cowboy boots on Wednesday, August 10: “Yep! Doublemint here we come!”
The actor recently enlisted the help of his toddler JJ last August to create his own Instagram account.
“In an effort 2 squash some posers, my daughter is helping me start an Instagram profile. Chk it out. Hint: it's just my name,” he tweeted in August 2015 before posting an adorable Instagram photo of himself with his little girl. “Hello Instagram,” he captioned the shot.
Ackles and Danneel tied the knot in May 2010 in Dallas. The pair, who costarred in the 2007 romantic comedy Ten Inch Hero, dated for three years before he popped the question.
