Tamera Mowry’s go-to baby shower gift isn’t pretty, but it’s a must-have. “People always forget about the diaper pail,” she told Us Weekly at the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 12. “Just get a simple one. They will love it. I love mine.”
The Real cohost brought son Aden, 5, and husband Adam Housley along with her to the red carpet event. Since the movie is PG-13, Mowry admitted her “gut” told her to leave the little boy at home with his little sister Ariah, 2. But Aden is a megafan of dinosaurs and the Jurassic Park franchise, and Mowry decided to take a chance.
“I did the mommy prep talk, ‘This is a movie, it’s fake, although it happened way, way back in the day,” the Sister, Sister alum told Us. But Aden already understands that. “He knows more about dinosaurs than I do. It’s insane,” she gushed. “He was just telling me that a T. rex is a carnivore.”
Mowry was hopeful that Aden wouldn’t get freaked out by the flick, since he watches lots of “Halloween stuff” on YouTube. “We’re going to try it out tonight,” she explained. “If it goes well, cool. If it doesn’t, then I know what to do.”
Before rushing inside to the theater, the star shared an update on her new niece. Twin sister Tia Mowry-Hardrict welcomed her second child — a girl — with husband Cory Hardrict on May 5. (They are also parents of 6-year-old son Creed.) “Wait until you see this beautiful baby. She is absolutely stunning,” Tamera raved. “They are in heaven.”
