In the beginning, there was Genesis!
The Help star Viola Davis and husband Julius Tennon have just adopted a baby girl named Genesis, her rep tells Us Weekly.
"We don't have any children [together], but we're about to adopt a baby," hubby Tennon (who has two children from previous relationships) told E! News at The Help premiere in Beverly Hills in August.
Davis echoed her husband, adding, "Yes, we're about to adopt a baby."
Daughter Genesis is the first child for the Tony-winning-actress, 46.
The proud new parents were among the many attendees — Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Katherine Heigl, Reese Witherspoon, Evan Rachel Wood and others — at ELLE's 18th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills Monday night.
