They're raising him to be a true Reds fan at such an early age! Vanessa and Nick Lachey celebrated their son Camden's first birthday on Sunday, Sept. 15, the only way true Cincinnati Reds fans would — by outfitting their little tyke in a bright jersey with "Lachey" and the number "1" emblazoned on the back.
The proud parents wore matching jerseys and blue jeans.
"Cam's 1st Birthday in Cincy was a success!" an excited Vanessa tweeted on Sunday, captioning a shot of the three of them at Cincinnati's Great American Ball Park. In it, the threesome duck down in front of a balcony overlooking an empty field and stadium. "Beautiful day, lots of sweets, and so much Love!"
Vanessa, who has been chronicling her experiences as a first-time mom on her website, told Parade magazine earlier this year that Camden is already developing a very distinct personality of his own.
"I think Cam just loves anything that Nick does — he's such a little Daddy's boy, it's adorable," the Wipeout hostess gushed of her son. "Overall, we're just constantly talking to him and singing to him … anything to interact with the little munchkin."
The happy couple gave welcomed Camden to the world on Sept. 12, 2012, and would "love" to add more children to their brood — one day.
"Of course! Yes, God-willing, it will be at the right time," Vanessa told Us at an event in June. "Right now we're happy with where we're at. We're happy with having him. But in the future, we'd love to add to our family."
