Amanda Batula is not pregnant despite a viral video shared by boyfriend West Wilson that addressed online speculation.
Us exclusively confirmed the news via multiple sources on Wednesday, July 22, discovering, however, that a baby might not be entirely off the cards for the In the City star, 34.
“Amanda isn’t pregnant but she wants to have kids with West in the near future,” the insider told Us. “Which is why the cast is still mad at her because it seems she had these intentions all along.”
A second source also confirmed to Us that Amanda, who revealed her shock romance with West, 31, via a joint Instagram Story statement on March 31, is currently not pregnant.
Us has reached out to representatives for both Amanda and West for comment.
Talk of a pregnancy, which was originally sparked by social media photos of Amanda wearing a flowy dress to a Montana wedding with West earlier this month, was parodied by the couple via a Tuesday, July 14, TikTok video shared by West.
In the parody, West, who, like Amanda, will not be returning to Summer House for season 11, filmed Amanda shopping for jars of pickles and tubs of ice-cream — two common pregnancy cravings.
To further fan the flames, Amanda cheekily opted for an oversized pink-and-white striped shirt that may have suggested a hidden baby bump.
While the video, which subsequently went viral, did not have a caption, West did take to the comments section to engage with fans who shared amusement over the pair poking fun at pregnancy rumors. He hit “like” on comments including “I think this is funny, sue me,” and “This is actually funny as f*** (I get it).”
The couple’s pregnancy riddle comes just over three months after the pair stunned fans — and former Summer House costars — by confirming their relationship after previously denying they were more than friends.
At the time, Amanda had come off the back of a January split from ex-husband Kyle Cooke, while West had been involved in an on-off relationship with Amanda’s former BFF Ciara Miller.
In the Tuesday finale of In the City, Kyle, 43, who had been married to Amanda for four years, confronted Amanda about the romance. “It makes me so f***ing upset,” he told his ex during the episode. “You point blank lied to me about West.”
Kyle further alleged, “You left me for a guy that rages three times harder,” referring to Amanda constantly reprimanding him for partying throughout their marriage before ultimately calling it quits.
