Former lovers, now friends. Amber Rose paid tribute to her ex Wiz Khalifa in a sweet Father’s Day post on Sunday, June 19, saying some rather nice things about the father of their 3-year-old son, Sebastian.
“Happy Father’s Day to Sebastian’s Dad @mistercap Thee most Awesomest Dad in the World!!! (Besides my Daddy),” she captioned a cute photo of Khalifa, 28, and their son. “Wish I could be home with you guys Today but have a blast and love each other up all day!”
Rose, 32, filed for divorce from the “See You Again” rapper back in 2014 after 14 months of marriage. The pair have remained amicable since their split, however, with Rose often documenting the couple coparenting their son.
Earlier this month, the exes even toasted each other at a strip club in Los Angeles after reaching an agreement on their divorce settlement.
“Too much fun with my Ex hubby last night & no we didn’t celebrate our divorce we celebrated our love 4 each other cuz that never goes away,” the model tweeted on June 7.
Rose has since moved on in the relationship department, and has most recently been linked to basketball player Terrence Ross. During an appearance on E!’s Hollywood Medium in February, the SlutWalk founder joked that she was done with rappers.
“Get them away from me!” she told host Tyler Henry.
In January, however, she admitted that there was a lot of love between her and Khalifa during the course of their relationship.
“Real love? Was with my husband [Khalifa],” she said on the "Guys We F‑‑ked" podcast. "My soon-to-be ex-husband. Absolutely, for sure. When you really find love, you just know. So you look back at your past relationships and go, 'Eh, I didn't love those fools.'"
