Nothing but love. Amber Rose shared a touching post about the “bittersweet” nature of raising her young son, 3-year-old Sebastian, via Instagram on Thursday, July 7, in the chaotic aftermath of the shooting deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.

“I woke up this morning to my beautiful son with such a heavy heart,” she captioned an adorable close-up of the little boy, whom she shares with ex Wiz Khalifa. “I grabbed my baby and kissed him, hugged him, told him how beautiful his skin and hair is and let him know that one day he will be able to change the world and I will love him and accept him no matter what.”

“I stayed off of social media all day today to spend every waking second of my day off with my boy and loved him up,” the 32-year-old Amber Rose Show host continued. “Now that he’s warm in his bed it is so bittersweet that I have my baby next to me and other women are losing their babies left and right. I’m filled with such sadness. Alton and Philando were somebodies babies and they had babies themselves. Kiss ur babies tonight no matter how old they are and tell them you love them more than anything! Because at this rate we don’t know how much time we have left with them.”

On Tuesday, July 5, Sterling was shot and killed outside a store where he was selling homemade CDs and DVDs. One day later, Castile was shot and killed point blank after he was pulled over for a routine traffic stop.

Both killings were caught on tape in videos that have since gone viral online.

Rose’s post also comes after the tragic shooting death of five Dallas police officers at a peaceful rally on Thursday, July 7. The suspect, who was killed with a bomb robot, reportedly told the hostage negotiator that he was “upset about Black Lives Matter” and he “was upset about the recent police shootings” of Sterling and Castile.

President Barack Obama addressed the shootings during a press conference in Warsaw, Poland, on Friday. “We will learn more, undoubtedly, about their twisted motivations, but let’s be clear: There is no possible justification for these types of attacks. Anyone involved in these senseless murders will be held fully accountable. Justice will be done.”
