That’s what (Bachelorette) girlfriends are for! Andi Dorfman wished her BFF Nikki Ferrell happy birthday via Instagram on Wednesday, Oct. 29. The sweet message was posted two days after Us Weekly broke news that the Bachelor winner split from Juan Pablo Galavis.
“#wcw and a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my love @nikki_ferrell. Words cannot express how much I love you!” Dorfman, 27, captioned an adorable selfie of the gal pals. “We were brought together in the strangest of ways but true friendship can never be broken.”
“You are the strongest girl I know. You get put down but you always smile, you always push through,” Josh Murray’s fiancee continued. “I am so thankful for our friendship and so proud of you for everything you have done and will continue to do. Love you to the moon and back! Cause were the two best friends.”
Us exclusively revealed Tuesday that Ferrell, now 28, recently initiated the breakup with Galavis, 33. A source told Us the couple had “been fighting” since appearing on VH1’s Couples Therapy and the split “was not mutual.” Another insider added: “Everything Nikki wanted, he didn’t. She wanted to settle down and he didn’t.”
Luckily for Ferrell, one good thing has come out of her time on Galavis’ controversial Bachelor season — Dorfman. The ladies quickly bonded after meeting on the ABC series, and Dorfman has had her back ever since. On Oct. 23, the Atlanta native tweeted a cryptic message to Ferrell before the news of her and Galavis’ split went public.
“I love @Nikki_Ferrell and I’m happy with anything and anyjuan that makes her smile,” Dorfman wrote.
