Sizing up Spidey! Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone have been steadfastly tight-lipped about their relationship, but while on a press tour for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the couple opened up about something very important and intimate: Garfield's, ahem, package. During a hilarious interview, the British actor joked that Stone approved how his privates looked in the skintight Spider-Man suit while on set.
"It takes a lot of consideration because you don't want it to be overwhelming and also you don't want it to be underwhelming," Garfield, 30, explained to Australia's The Project earlier this week. "You don't want it to intimidate and you don't want it to the opposite of intimidate."
"So, yes there is thought," he continued, "but ultimately you have to trust that what you have is enough."
Adding to his cheeky comment, Stone broke out Tobey Maguire's 2002 famous Spider-Man line. "Because with great power comes great responsibility," she quipped.
Garfield added: "I had one focus group — and that focus group was Emma. She approved."
The couple of two years also dodged answering why there's so much kissing in the movie. "It's icky," Stone, 25, teased. Garfield joked: "It's pretty gross."
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theaters on May 2, 2014.
