She’s been busy! Angelina Jolie has added to her tattoo collection in the past few months. The Oscar winner was spotted with three new back tattoos while filming her upcoming war drama, First They Killed My Father, in Cambodia on Sunday, February 7.
The three large tattoos join the two existing tattoos on her upper back. Two black symbols appear in the middle while the third is located on her right shoulder blade. According to the Daily Mail, the bottom and right ones appear to be ancient markings while the other is a “Paech chaluaek,” which is a symbol of good deeds.

Jolie’s previous back tattoos include a Buddhist prayer, which she got in 2003. She added the phrase “Know Your Rights” the following year. (Jolie also has a tiger on her lower back.)
Jolie, 40, has yet to debut her new designs on the red carpet. Last November, she only showed off the tiger and wings in a backless dress while attending the WSJ Magazine 2015 Innovator Awards in NYC.

Back in 2010, Jolie opened up about her many tattoos (she was rumored to have 15 at the time) during an interview with Australia’s Post-Modern Ink.
“I love them. They’re body art,” she said. “I don’t think it’s abnormal that someone who spends their life in other skins wants to claim their own by marking things on it that matter to them.”
As Us Weekly exclusively revealed, some of Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s six children also want to get tattoos like their famous mom. “They are obsessed with her tattoos and always ask what they mean,” an insider told Us in June 2014. “[She’s] happy to explain her tats to the kids.”
