Two girls! Anna Chlumsky and her husband, Shaun So, welcomed their second daughter — Clara Elizabeth — on Thursday, July 28, a rep for the actress confirmed to Us Weekly.
The Veep actress, 35, and her business executive husband, who were married in 2008, are already parents of 3-year-old Penelope Joan.
As previously reported, the My Girl actress revealed her second pregnancy during a Facebook Live chat with Travel + Leisure on April 5. The expectant mother wore a formfitting dress that showed off her visible baby bump while sharing her travel plans. She pointed toward her belly during the live chat and told the magazine, “Being as expectant as I am, we’re going to keep it low-key and try to get a beach vacation in pretty soon.”
But the actress — who has been nominated for her fourth straight Emmy for her portrayal of Amy Brookheimer on Veep — said during the conversation that motherhood wouldn’t slow the couple down: “When my husband and I got married, we made a promise to ourselves we’d use our passport once a year because we just love doing that. It’s so important to us. We’ve kept that up happily, even with having a toddler.”
In April, the End of the Tour actress dished about parenthood to E! News and said, “It’s awesome. I love it.” She added, “[Penelope’s] becoming her own person, and it’s delicious to watch.”
