Another birthday down! Anna Kournikova celebrated her 35th birthday with longtime boyfriend Enrique Iglesias and her family on Tuesday, June 7. The former tennis pro later shared a rare Instagram photo of herself with Iglesias and her little brother, Allan, on Thursday, June 9.
“❤️😘🎈,” she captioned the sweet snap.
The athlete and musician have been dating since 2001 and have kept mum about their relationship. Some have speculated that the two secretly wed given the huge sparkler Kournikova rocks on her ring finger.
In a video posted to her Instagram on May 22, the blonde’s massive yellow diamond can be seen while she dances to Iglesias’ new song “Duele El Corazon” on a boat.
“I’ve never really thought marriage would make a difference,” Iglesias told Parade magazine in 2012. “Maybe it’s because I come from divorced parents, but I don’t think you love someone more because of a piece of paper.” Enrique’s father, singer Julio Iglesias, split from his mom, Isabel Preysler, after eight years of marriage in 1979.
Kournikova has also been vocal about not needing to tie the knot.
“It isn’t important to me,” she told Woman’s Health magazine in 2011. “I’m in a happy relationship — that’s all that matters.”
The pair were last photographed together out in Los Angeles in August.
