Despite their 17-year age difference, AnnaLynne McCord, 24, says she has a lot in common with her 41-year-old actor beau Dominic Purcell.
"We met doing a project and we connected over a conversation about how we were moving away from L.A.," she told Us Weekly at QVC's Live from Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week runway show and cocktail party in NYC Saturday. "I just bought a townhouse [somewhere else in California]. We were trying to get away from all of it. We live far away, near the beach."
The 90210 star — who last dated Twilight heartthrob Kellan Lutz — added that being with an older man has its perks.
"We have healthy debates, which I absolutely love," she said. "At the very end of the conversation we will both go, 'I respect your opinion. I disagree with you. But I respect your opinion because I love you.'"
"I'm like the little girl who loves school and love learning, especially from a man who is so intelligent and so worldly," McCord told Us. "It's nice to learn some things."
