Hudson McLeroy’s public apology to ex-girlfriend Ariana Biermann isn’t impressing her very much.
“Ariana, I’m sorry I couldn’t see how much you were hurting because I was so caught up in how happy you made me,” Hudson, 25, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, October 21, when celebrating his birthday. “I let what I felt drown out what you were trying to tell me.”
The Next Gen NYC star also seemingly referenced the ongoing drama surrounding some of Ariana’s family.
Ariana’s mom, Kim Zolciak, continues to face a public divorce from Kroy Biermann, while Ariana’s younger brother Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr. was arrested in August on sexual assault charges. He has denied the accusations and pleaded not guilty to the charges.
“Even though we’ve recently broken up, I’ve seen the comments about her and her family. While I can’t speak for her or for her family, I can say this, please shut the f*** up and leave them alone,” Hudson wrote via Instagram. “She’s dealing with enough without a random @ hiding behind a profile picture of their family dog adding their opinions.”
One day after Hudson spoke out online, Ariana, 25, saw the post and decided to comment.
“So much to say publicly, yet nothing to say privately,” she wrote. “Weird.”
The comment left Hudson inspired to clap back and call his ex some harsh names.
“@arianabiermann that’s slick. The craziest comment I’ve ever read. After everything I’ve done for you and your family. I was trying to make a point, but damn. This just makes you look like even more of an ass than before after everything that’s happened,” he wrote. “But I get it. I’ll keep the space. I can remove the post if you’d like. Just let me know.”
Hudson and Ariana first announced their breakup in October 2025 after moving into a New York City apartment together.
During the September 23 reunion episode of Next Gen NYC, viewers watched the pair address the status of their relationship.
“When push comes to shove, if Hudson needs me, no matter where I am in the world, I always want to be able to help him,” Ariana told host Andy Cohen.
In his latest social media post, Hudson once again reflected on his love story with Ariana.
“Our relationship has held more weight than most people will ever know. We were trying to work things out while filming a reality tv show and move to a new city,” he said. “Considering that city was New York added an entire new set of stress and anxiety.”
